Privacy Policy

Account details. When you create an account or sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and (if you set one) your password. Passwords are stored as a one-way hash and are never readable by us.

Care details. To arrange care, we collect information about your loved one -their name, address, location, health conditions, medications, mobility and daily routine. We also store visit reports and health observations prepared by our nurses.

Contact and payment. We collect a phone/WhatsApp number if you provide one, and payment information is processed by Paystack. We never see or store your full card number.

Referrals. If you sign up through a referral link, we record who referred you so we can award referral rewards. We also generate a referral code for you.

We use your information to deliver and coordinate care, schedule consultations and visits, send you visit reports and updates, and process subscriptions and payments.

We may email you service updates, reminders and occasional information about our services. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.

Our care team. Registered nurses and administrators who provide your care can see the information needed to do their job.

Family members. Visit reports are shared with the email addresses you ask us to include.

Service providers. We use trusted providers to send email (SMTP), schedule video consultations (Google Meet), process payments (Paystack) and host our platform. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function.

We do not sell your personal information or your loved one's health information.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, signed login tokens and access controls that limit health information to the people providing care. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

We keep your account and care records for as long as needed to provide services and meet our legal and accounting obligations. You may request that we delete your account by emailing support@kincheckcare.com.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you and your loved one. To make a request, email support@kincheckcare.com.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your account. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last revised. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
